Basic/Intermediate Workshop: 12 students maximum
Time: 2 days (10 am to 5 pm)
Content of the course: Tools, Workspace, Cleaning, Hardware Removals, Properties of the Film, UGIS: Universal Graphic Installation System, Layout/Key Panel, Registration, Window Perforation, Problem Solving, Design tips, Post-Install Tips, and Marketing
One vehicle will be wrapped from start to finish so the entire process can be seen in entirety.
Many aspects separate what Justin teaches from the other workshops offered today. Justin is an Avery/3M certified installer so everything that he teaches conforms to the certification guidelines of the major manufacturers. Justin has created UGIS: Universal Graphic Installation System that is an easy-to-learn platform that works on any vehicle. Fundamentals and technique are emphasized instead of the overstretch approach that is all too commonly taught in the industry. Justin teaches that through sound fundamentals and a thorough understanding of the film, less heat is needed on installs. This creates higher quality, durability and speed.
Film used: MPI 1005 Supercast Easy Apply RS ™ with 1.3mm overlam
Advanced Workshop: 8 students maximum
Time: 1 day (8:30 am to 5:00 pm)
Content of the course: Perfect Corners, Perfect Edges, Deep Recessed Areas, Door Handles, Bumpers, Seamless Installations and Creating Speed
The advanced workshop is geared for those who are or have taken the Basic/Intermediate workshop and for experienced installers looking to work on problem areas and create speed. The Advanced workshop focuses on the more challenging aspects of wrapping and the finer points that are not covered in the Basic/Intermediate workshop. Please note, many students who only sign up for the Basic/Intermediate course sign up for the Advanced workshop after the first day because of how much they are learning from Justin. One problem that has come up is due to the last minute nature of signing up, they cannot take the Advanced workshop because it sells out due to its smaller class size (8 students). If you are really interested in learning all the aspects of vehicle graphic installations be sure to sign up for both workshops. Taking the 3-day workshop is the most thorough and effective way to understand the art of vehicle graphic installations so it is highly recommended if you are just starting out.

About Justin Pate:
Justin is an Avery Specialist Installer who has made a name for himself by being one of the fastest installers in the world as well as creating UGIS: Universal Graphic Installation System. Along with teaching Mutoh’s School of Wrap workshops Justin teaches hands-on trainings throughout Europe for Squeezy, the premiere installation company in the Netherlands. Justin has created installations videos, most notably his latest release, “Technique and Tips: Vehicle Graphic Installations”.
